On Wednesday, SwipeSense announced it had secured $9.7 million in funding, according to a filing by the SEC. The Chicago-based company, which was nominated for a Moxie Award for Best Healthcare Startup in 2013, provides hand-sanitation tools to hospital workers in order to deter infections.
