At the center of Nature’s Fynd is Fy, a fungi-derived protein that is rich in fiber, calcium, vitamins and amino acids. With it, the company can make meatless and dairy-free products using a fraction of the resources needed in traditional agriculture.
Because of the pandemic, prospects are tentative to spend money on new products, and since in-person meetings are out of the picture, sales reps have had to get creative if they want to land clients. That means Zoom calls, virtual presentations and ultimately, a higher level of skill.
Since its launch in April, the company has already worked with 120 venues to put on 300 virtual shows generating $1.5 million in ticket sales. And it’s just getting started.
