Accenture Appoints Jim Coleman as Managing Director of Chicago Office

Accenture recently appointed Jim Coleman as Managing Director of the company's Chicago office. In this role he is responsible for growing Accenture's business in Chicago and the Central Region, mentoring and developing local workforces, enhancing Corporate Citizenship activities and managing office operations. He replaces Michael Scimo, who has retired.

Accenture has over 5,000 employees based in Chicago, which is the company's largest office in North America. The office has been named as one of the 'Top Workplaces' by the Chicago Tribune for five years in a row. Accenture provides a full range of services out of the Chicago office, including strategy, consulting, technology, operations and digital to local and global clients.

In addition to his Chicago Office responsibilities, Coleman is a member of the Accenture North America Leadership team and maintains an active portfolio of client and practice leadership responsibilities. Prior to these roles, Coleman led the Products North American Digital Business where he leveraged over 25 years of marketing and sales experience to help frame offerings and drive some of Accenture's largest digital initiatives.

Coleman earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and participated in Accenture's Leadership Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with the family, running, snow skiing and real estate investing. He is also a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago and serves on the organization's Civic Committee. Jim is a Chicago native, and was born and raised on the North Side.
