Manage patient registration and insurance verification, obtain pre-authorizations, create estimates and collect payments, perform Medicare compliance and eligibility checks, mentor staff, support clinical partners, document interactions, and assist with audits, training, and scheduling.

Performs patient registration, insurance verification, Medicare compliance reviews, and collects payments or sets payment plans. Obtains pre-authorizations, coordinates with clinical and utilization teams, provides PBX coverage, performs cashiering and cash reconciliation, documents interactions, and ensures adherence to CMS, EMTALA, and HIPAA guidelines.

Provide patient-centered medication management including counseling, stewardship, and surveillance. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and transitions of care. Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff and trainees. Identify, report, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and errors while promoting safe, timely, and cost-effective therapy.
