Performs patient registration, insurance verification, Medicare compliance reviews, and collects payments or sets payment plans. Obtains pre-authorizations, coordinates with clinical and utilization teams, provides PBX coverage, performs cashiering and cash reconciliation, documents interactions, and ensures adherence to CMS, EMTALA, and HIPAA guidelines.

Provide patient-centered medication management including counseling, stewardship, and surveillance. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and transitions of care. Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff and trainees. Identify, report, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and errors while promoting safe, timely, and cost-effective therapy.

Lead and mentor nursing staff while providing and overseeing venous access and infusion therapy. Assess patients, develop individualized care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, drive quality improvement, manage performance appraisals, organize training, resolve staff conflicts, and communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue ABNs, provide coverage for assigned areas and PBX, communicate with clinical and ancillary teams, document conversations, and perform cashiering and reconciliation.

Coordinate and oversee the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program, ensuring trauma-informed, high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff education, quality improvement, forensic documentation review, 24/7 response coverage, peer review, policy audits, interdisciplinary collaboration, and serving as an on-call resource and clinical leader for SANE staff.

Supervise and manage daily operations of the Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology labs while providing direct patient care during procedures. Coordinate staffing, schedules, and patient flow; train and precept staff; monitor hemodynamics and communicate with physicians; manage equipment, supplies, and documentation; participate in quality, safety, patient experience, and budget meetings.

Manage Cath Lab nursing staff: recruit, hire, orient, educate, evaluate performance, and resolve conflicts. Oversee unit budget, lead quality improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate with care teams, perform patient assessments, develop care plans, safely administer treatments, and maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Provide bedside clinical care, EMR documentation, unit-based staff education, onboarding support, coaching and performance feedback for nursing staff. Participate in quality improvement, data collection, policy review, peer interviews, and action planning to improve patient safety and outcomes.

Provide inpatient social work services including grief counseling, crisis intervention, goals-of-care and discharge planning. Assess patients and families holistically, coordinate post-acute and community resources, review medical records, and communicate with post-acute providers to ensure safe timely transitions of care.

Manage patient registration and payer communications, verify insurance and benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, perform Medicare compliance checks, assign payor plans, create estimates and collect payments. Support department through audits, staff mentoring, training, scheduling, case management coordination, documentation, and on-call coverage as needed.

Provide inpatient social work services including grief counseling, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, care coordination with post-acute providers, multidisciplinary rounds participation, patient/family advocacy, and documentation to ensure timely transitions and continuity of care.

Coordinate and manage facility engineering, construction, and renovation projects. Act as site coordinator, obtain vendor estimates, schedule and oversee contractors, maintain drawings and documents, prepare daily status reports, manage budgets and schedules, complete ICRA and interim life safety measures, respond to equipment or project issues, and ensure regulatory compliance and safe work practices.

Provide diagnostic radiographic imaging on day shifts, operate and position radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, ensure radiation safety and high-quality images, document exams in EMR/PACS, deliver patient care across age groups, maintain certifications and licenses, and may instruct student radiographers after one year post-certification.
