Per diem Neurodiagnostic Technician performing EEGs and related neurodiagnostic procedures, including portable, ambulatory, EMU, Wada, and evoked-potential testing. The role prepares patients, gathers histories, explains procedures, ensures recording quality, identifies artifacts, troubleshoots equipment, documents studies, performs scheduling and charge entry, and assists with patient positioning and transport. Evening and weekend shifts are available.

Provides direct patient care under RN supervision across medical-surgical, ICU, and emergency departments. Duties include bathing, feeding, ambulation, vital-sign measurement, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, patient transport, rounding, documentation, admission and discharge support, and maintaining patient safety and comfort. Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures, including patient positioning, technical factor selection, image post-processing, contrast administration, IV initiation, and patient history review. Maintains radiation, magnetic, infection-control, and safety standards; documents patient, billing, equipment, and incident information; supports scheduling, inventory, education, and student training. Provides patient care across age groups and may cover multiple locations, rotating Saturdays, overtime, call-back, and staffing needs.

Provide basic direct patient care and unit coordination under RN supervision: assist with ADLs, vital signs, admissions/transfers/discharges, specimen collection/ECGs/bladder scans as allowed, document in EMR, support unit communication and supply processes, and participate in unit quality and preceptor activities.

Directs hospital quality management and clinical quality improvement programs, including ISO 9001 compliance, accreditation surveys, physician peer review, contract management, and document control. Leads performance improvement and safety initiatives, manages staff, develops budgets, and ensures regulatory and ethical compliance. Provides outpatient hematology and oncology care, including follow-up visits, chemotherapy education, benign hematology consultations, bone marrow procedures, triage, inbox management, and occasional inpatient rounding. Leads Advocate Health’s Epic Factory AI Program and cross-application strategic initiatives. Translates business needs into optimized clinical workflows, coordinates complex technology projects, manages risks and implementation plans, measures project outcomes, and drives change adoption. The role also provides technical direction, mentors analysts, supports portfolio planning, and partners with IT leadership and business stakeholders to deliver healthcare technology improvements.

Supports Epic healthcare applications for hospital coding and CDI. Analyzes and maps clinical and business workflows, translates requirements into system specifications, configures applications, develops and executes testing, trains users, maintains documentation, manages upgrades, troubleshoots issues, and supports multiple stakeholders. Epic certification must be obtained within six months and maintained annually.
