Provides peer support to individuals in substance use recovery by building relationships, connecting participants with social-service resources, helping set goals and recovery action plans, tracking progress, and sharing personal recovery experience. The role includes ongoing training, community engagement, and individualized mentoring.

Supports recovery-focused nonprofit or public-agency projects through community engagement, research and data collection, focus groups, health and education campaigns, volunteer mobilization, and workforce development. Members receive training, conduct recovery-pathway education, participate in professional development, and share lived experience with the community. The role requires a dependable schedule, basic computer proficiency, English fluency, and successful background-check completion.
