The Local Advertising Account Executive is responsible for building Axios' local advertising business, developing relationships with local advertisers, and generating revenue through a self-built pipeline, leveraging an existing network in their market.

Cover Houston for Axios Local: co-author a daily newsletter, break news, develop local sources, write in Smart Brevity style, experiment with AI for reporting, and help shape product and coverage strategy.

Lead and support local reporters across the Mountain/West region (focus on Phoenix), manage editorial brainstorming and execution, edit stories and newsletters in AxiosSmart Brevity style, experiment with AI to improve workflows, communicate company vision, coach reporters, and write stories/newsletter items as needed.
