The Senior Trading Software Engineer will optimize performance-critical code, collaborate with trading engineers, implement low-latency solutions, and enhance trading systems.

Lead and execute cross-functional software development projects with traders, developers, and quants. Define requirements, milestones, timelines, and KPIs; perform cost/benefit analysis; manage stakeholders and upward communication; resolve team conflicts; report metrics to leadership; follow Agile methods; promote project-management best practices. Onsite in Chicago full-time.

Develop and maintain low-latency, high-performance proprietary trading systems. Participate in full SDLC: design, implement, test, and deploy trading applications. Collaborate with teammates, follow coding standards, write automated tests, and learn trading fundamentals through the Belvedere Trading University program.
