Provide hands-on PostgreSQL consulting for enterprise, self-managed environments. Audit and stabilize databases, tune vacuum, indexes, queries, and configuration, and improve reliability and performance. Implement monitoring, alerting, backup and recovery validation, replication, high availability, runbooks, and remediation plans. Advise client stakeholders, lead incident root-cause analysis, support upgrades and migrations, and communicate recommendations. The role is fully remote but requires quarterly travel and may include training, conference presentations, and technical content creation.

Design, build, and operate distributed backend systems using Go, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS, and Kubernetes. Lead modernization, migration, and event-streaming initiatives; own reliability, observability, CI/CD, and production operations; consult with enterprise clients on architecture and delivery; and contribute to technical training, conferences, and community activities.

Build and operate durable, distributed enterprise systems: implement Java services, Temporal workflows, and Kafka pipelines; design and run Kubernetes-native infrastructure on AWS; lead migrations and platform modernization; consult with clients, ensure CI/CD/GitOps delivery, and enable observability and reliability for application teams.
