Leads mechanical development of architectural luminaires from concept through production, including creative design, prototyping, validation, regulatory testing, manufacturing collaboration, and documentation. Manages multiple cross-functional projects, identifies design risks, supports peer reviews, establishes timelines, and maintains deliverables such as CAD documentation, production materials, ordering system setup, cost models, and sales tools.

Lead and manage an Existing Product Support mechanical engineering team to deliver product updates, cost reductions, and design improvements. Oversee offshore engineers and onsite technicians, ensure on-time delivery, integrate manufacturing and supplier capabilities into designs, review mechanical engineering outputs, respond to production inquiries, and hire/train/mentor EPS staff.

Lead design-for-manufacture reviews and launch operations for new/improved lighting products. Plan production processes, fixtures, PFMEAs/DFMEAs, work instructions, and lean improvements while collaborating with product development and operations to ensure safe, cost-effective, high-quality production.
