This 10-week internship supports CIBC’s Risk Governance and Control team through assignments involving governance, risk operations, analytics, project collaboration, and control activities. Interns will develop project management, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills while networking with employees and executives. The role requires a minimum 3.0 GPA, enrollment in a related bachelor’s degree program, Excel familiarity, and interest in risk management and governance.

Summer interns support equity research by analyzing public companies, financial statements, industries, earnings materials, and market data. They build financial models, develop investment theses, summarize earnings calls, conduct valuation analysis, and present research conclusions to investment professionals. The 10-week Chicago-based program includes training, mentorship, networking, and professional development.
