Advises executive leadership and the board, manages the philanthropy budget and governance systems, oversees impact reporting and communications, represents the organization externally, and supervises the Civic and Social Impact Coordinator. The role also develops nonprofit, government, business, and philanthropic relationships and supports community engagement tied to Clayco projects.

Lead design-build construction projects ($60M–$250M+), act as single point of contact for owners and design teams, manage budgets, schedules, costs, subcontractor relationships, and mentor project management staff through project completion.

Coordinate full-cycle recruiting for architecture, engineering, and construction roles. Source and screen candidates, build talent pipelines, coordinate interviews, manage applicant tracking systems, support offers and onboarding, and represent the company at recruiting events and career fairs. Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, maintain candidate communication, and deliver a strong candidate experience.

Leads full-cycle corporate recruiting, including sourcing, candidate screening, interview scheduling, job posting, reference checks, offer letters, onboarding, database and job board management, and college recruiting events. Partners with enterprise leaders to attract and hire industry professionals, manages confidential information, and serves as a primary contact for candidates. The role is highly visible, on-site, fast-paced, and requires occasional travel to recruiting events and college fairs.

Engineers, administers, and optimizes DLP and CASB solutions, including policies, alerts, integrations, data discovery, classification, and remediation. Supports firewalls, DNS, email security, WAF, incident response, and broader security control operations. Investigates data-loss and insider-risk events, develops compliance reports and metrics, tunes detection rules, manages change processes, documents runbooks, and mentors SOC personnel. The role requires incident availability 24/7 and regional client travel.

Lead and execute site safety programs on large construction projects. Conduct orientations, daily/weekly inspections, incident investigations, subcontractor safety coordination, training, and recordkeeping. Coach staff, manage safety supervisors, support fire prevention and corrective actions, and promote a zero-injury culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA and federal/state regulations.

Lead preconstruction efforts for design-build projects: develop scopes, prepare conceptual estimates and proposals, review schedules and value-engineer items, select and manage subcontractor scopes, present estimates to clients, mentor junior estimators, and support contract negotiations and general conditions development.

Lead residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects: manage teams, clients, consultants, schedules, billings, profitability, business development, recruiting, and project performance while representing LJC externally.

Develop detailed electrical installation documents and support construction for industrial and commercial projects. Create power, grounding, and lighting plans; perform short circuit, ampacity, voltage drop, load studies, and utility sizing; specify electrical equipment; review designs and shop drawings; support BIM coordination; apply NEC and building codes; provide technical support to project teams and clients; review submittals and RFIs.

Lead mechanical preconstruction estimating for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and piping systems. Develop conceptual and detailed cost estimates, perform constructability reviews, prepare scopes, coordinate with design and trades, evaluate vendors, support value engineering, supervise junior estimators, maintain cost databases, and support project budgeting and procurement.

Lead piping stress and mechanical design for industrial/process facilities: perform CAESAR II analyses, evaluate nozzle and equipment loads, design supports and interfaces, prepare calculations and reports, coordinate multidisciplinary designs, support construction/startup, mentor junior engineers, and ensure code-compliant, constructible solutions.

Lead and oversee process design workflows, create multi-discipline piping and system designs, enforce company standards, mentor designers, collaborate with clients, and drive process improvement while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance across projects.

Prepare conceptual and hard-dollar estimates, perform quantity take-offs and constructability reviews, manage subcontractor bidding, analyze bids, draft conditions and schedules, support handoff to Project Management, and maintain historical unit-price data to improve estimating and bidding accuracy.

Support project staff across design-build projects from design through closeout. Assist with scheduling, subcontractor management and buyout, cost reporting and forecasting, submittals/change orders/pay requests, site logistics, safety compliance, quality oversight, and project closeout activities.

Lead electrical preconstruction estimating for large, complex projects (EV, semiconductor, manufacturing). Produce accurate budgets, quantity takeoffs, RFIs, value engineering, subcontractor solicitation, and maintain estimating data and supplier/subcontractor relationships.

On-site Project Engineer for large design-build construction projects ($30M+). Coordinate architects/engineers, manage design schedules, budgets, and costs, execute projects, build client/subcontractor relationships, mentor interns and junior staff, and travel regionally/nationally. Role is safety-sensitive with physical site requirements.

Lead and manage VDC/BIM efforts across multiple projects: implement digital practice technology, coordinate and analyze federated models (including 4D), coach project teams on VDC best practices, support pre-construction estimating/scheduling, manage document/workflow processes, and provide technical support for BIM tools through project closeout and handover.
