The Director of Engineering leads high-performing engineering squads, providing technical direction, establishing engineering standards, managing technical debt, and ensuring reliable, high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities include platform health, quality practices, CI/CD discipline, delivery flow, dependency management, and development of permanent and partner engineers. The role collaborates with Product, Delivery, and QA leaders to align engineering execution with business and customer outcomes.

Lead the design and evolution of an enterprise AWS data platform supporting analytics, reporting, operational decisions, and future AI initiatives. Build reliable batch and near-real-time pipelines, establish data architecture and governance standards, implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD, and develop governed data products. Provide hands-on technical leadership, architectural direction, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration while balancing scalability, performance, reliability, security, and cost.

Manage end-to-end technical project delivery, liaise with clients and teams, handle risk management, and improve project processes, while using tools like Jira and Confluence.
