Set up, program adjustments, and operate CNC mills and lathes (3-/5-axis, horizontal, dual-spindle) to run production of medical parts, inspect to maintain GD&T tolerances, meet efficiency goals, and support continuous process improvements in a fast-paced shop.

Program and set up 3- and 5-axis CNC turning centers from customer prints using Gibbs and Esprit CAM. Generate and analyze 3D toolpaths, troubleshoot programs, specify tooling and speeds/feeds, improve productivity, and support continuous process improvements in a medical device shop environment.

Entry-level CNC support role in a medical device shop. Perform shop tasks (saw, tool crib, assembly, polishing, maintenance, shipping), follow safety procedures, lift and stand for long periods, learn processes, and participate in a 9-week training bootcamp to advance into CNC machinist roles.
