Designs, analyzes, tests, maintains, repairs, and improves mechanical systems and components. Responsibilities include signing and sealing engineering documents, developing and evaluating systems, creating blueprints, conducting field visits, managing projects, and applying engineering analysis under general supervision. The role requires a Professional Engineer license, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to work in varied physical environments. Travel is required 5–10% of the time.

Supports Energy-as-a-Service retro-commissioning projects across complex healthcare and higher education facilities. Conducts site surveys, develops energy conservation strategies, reviews designs and equipment submittals, troubleshoots HVAC and building automation systems, performs commissioning reviews, prepares technical reports, and supports system optimization. Collaborates with project managers, energy managers, design teams, and clients while mentoring technical staff and traveling 30–40% to project sites.

Provides senior technical leadership for energy-as-a-service and retro-commissioning projects involving complex HVAC, MEP, building automation, and energy management systems. Leads commissioning, system integration, optimization, peer reviews, issue resolution, standards development, and technical execution across multidisciplinary projects. Mentors technical staff, supports strategic business decisions, and collaborates with project managers, energy managers, and engineers of record. The role requires a PE license, extensive engineering or energy-management experience, and 30–50% travel.
