Leads complex substation engineering projects from estimating and detailed design through procurement, bidding, commissioning, and construction support. Produces and reviews physical, protection, control, civil, and structural drawings; performs grounding, lightning protection, battery sizing, conduit fill, and AC/DC studies. Provides technical guidance, quality control, project forecasting, staff supervision, mentoring, site support, and business development assistance.

Lead and review mechanical engineering designs for gas transmission and pipeline projects; collaborate with project managers and senior engineers; estimate engineering hours for proposals; direct engineers, drafters, and designers; ensure quality control and compliance with specifications; support multi-discipline projects; engage with clients and perform occasional field/site visits.

Develop electrical design packages for pipeline projects, producing calculations, drawings, and documentation. Lead discipline-specific designs on smaller projects and assist technical analysis on complex projects. Coordinate with project teams, perform QA/QC reviews, use CAD and engineering tools, communicate impacts to scope/cost/schedule/quality, and occasionally support field activities.
