Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions. Responsibilities include data collection, cleansing, validation, quality assurance, ETL, integrity audits, documentation, anomaly resolution, and technical requirements analysis. The engineer develops SQL-based solutions, Tableau reporting, AWS cloud data infrastructure, and automated testing processes while collaborating with customers and Agile/Scaled Agile teams. The role supports data-intensive research, supervision, regulation, payments, and economic analysis across the Federal Reserve System.

Owns product vision execution by translating business and customer needs into prioritized requirements, managing Agile backlogs, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, and guiding cross-functional delivery. Partners with architecture, engineering, QA, and stakeholders to address risks, dependencies, defects, and technical debt. Presents product proposals and working software, monitors OKRs, supports governance, and drives continuous improvement across Federal Reserve Financial Services payment products.

Supports economists with basic and applied economic research, including data collection, statistical analysis, policy research, and preparation of charts, tables, and descriptive text. Interns work full time for 12 weeks alongside economists and research assistants across macroeconomics, microeconomics, financial economics, community development, and regional research teams.
