The Production Lead provides leadership and direction to non-exempt employees, manages resources, communicates production issues, and ensures quality metrics are met.

Leads manufacturing production activities, including employee performance feedback, staffing coordination, budget and expense management, production planning, material shortage escalation, bottleneck monitoring, downtime reporting, equipment issue coordination, quality tracking, scrap response, and shift communication. Supports process development, cost improvement, and new product introduction activities while ensuring production targets and quality indicators are met.

The Machinist operates machining equipment, performs setups, checks part conformance, and may operate CNC machines, ensuring production accuracy.

Supervises quality assurance inspection activities on the manufacturing floor. Assigns and trains inspectors, maintains staffing, reviews quality reports, conducts audits, manages nonconforming goods, implements corrective actions, and ensures procedures and quality goals are followed. Serves as a liaison among customers, vendors, management, production, engineering, HR, and finance regarding quality issues.

Plan, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes for high-volume medical production. Improve KPIs (OEE, yield, scrap, downtime), define process parameters, troubleshoot automated equipment, apply statistical process analysis, support ECOs, create documentation and training, and participate in pFMEA and continuous process improvements.

Leads the finance and accounting function for a manufacturing site, overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, audits, controls, compliance, profitability, cash flow, risk management, investment analysis, and process improvement. Partners with site leadership, manages the finance team, ensures adherence to US GAAP and corporate policies, safeguards company assets, supports customer quotes, and drives talent development and retention.

Operates CNC grinding and conventional machine shop equipment to produce precision parts within tight tolerances. Performs machine setups, adjusts speeds and feeds, interprets blueprints and technical drawings, inspects completed work, documents measurements, and supports the construction, repair, maintenance, and calibration of tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures, and instruments. May also provide technical guidance and training to other employees.

Manages the Tool Room department and oversees tooling and mold development from prototype through mass production. Leads mold repairs, engineering changes, preventive maintenance, process improvements, quality and safety initiatives, and cost-reduction efforts. The role requires customer collaboration, CNC programming knowledge, mold design expertise, manufacturing process analysis, and leadership of tool room personnel.

Serve as a communication bridge across shifts in a 24/7 medical manufacturing facility. Drive employee engagement, organize meetings, create internal communications, promote site vision and goals, support change management, assist training and safety initiatives, track engagement metrics, and support continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains CNC milling machines to produce precision components. Interprets blueprints, 3D models, GD&T requirements, and technical specifications; selects tooling and offsets; edits programs; and optimizes speeds and feeds. Performs inspections using precision measurement equipment, records production and quality data, supports troubleshooting and corrective actions, and contributes to lean manufacturing and process improvement. The role also includes preventive maintenance, operating multiple machines, maintaining safety standards, and mentoring less experienced machinists.

The CNC Machinist operates equipment like grinders to produce parts, performs machine setups, and checks for conformance to specifications. Requires attention to detail and 2+ years of CNC experience.

Leads day-to-day operations for a regulated manufacturing business, including production, delivery, purchasing, planning, engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, testing, and logistics. Owns operational goals, P&L performance, strategic programs, audits, quality and compliance, workforce development, and customer reviews. Requires leadership of multi-shift operations, medical device or regulated manufacturing, FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, process validation, design transfer, automation, NPI, and Lean management.

Review and quality-release Electronic Device History Records (DHR) for molding operations. Support EDHR preparation, batch record review, and final product release for medical devices. Assist production with EDHR completion, nonconformance/CAPA resolution, report EDHR status, interact with customers, and perform data entry and basic data analysis.

Manage import/export operations and compliance, liaise with carriers, customs, and internal teams, maintain U.S. Customs record-keeping, classify HTS, handle freight invoicing/claims, and drive cost-saving and audit remediation across sites.

Leads industrial business development by qualifying customers, building strategic alliances, closing opportunities, and achieving pipeline and bookings targets. Develops customer relationships, aligns Flex’s engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and aftermarket solutions with product roadmaps, and supports new account execution. Partners with finance and internal teams on financial KPIs while influencing executives and key clients across industrial markets including energy infrastructure, HVAC, robotics, warehouse automation, and semiconductors.

Administer and govern PDM/PLM systems (Autodesk Vault, SolidWorks PDM, PTC Windchill). Ensure engineering data integrity, BOM and item/master alignment, troubleshoot multi-CAD issues, support upgrades, migrations, and governance activities, and collaborate with engineering, IT, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.

Leads sales operations and process improvement to support profitable revenue growth. Responsibilities include defining sales processes, implementing productivity tools, managing quotas, forecasting, reporting, revenue-plan tracking, sales programs, customer and market feedback, rep and vendor contracts, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing and sales. The role also mentors representatives, supports executive alignment, organizes sales meetings and contests, develops communications, and travels to sales territories and trade shows as needed.

Lead communications infrastructure strategy and roadmaps across optical, switching, smart NIC/DPU, Satcom, and Enterprise AI platforms. Define make-vs-partner approaches, drive partnerships, translate market and customer insights into product requirements, coordinate cross-functional execution, and support go-to-market, manufacturability, and financial metrics.

Drive regional business development for power distribution and protection systems across the Western U.S. Manage pipeline, conduct onsite customer needs assessments, present tailored solutions, collaborate with engineering/estimating/marketing, execute local marketing activities, track competitor activity, and close technically-informed sales. Heavy travel within the region and cross-functional coordination required.
