Develop and manage carrier relationships, source and negotiate transportation capacity, secure competitive rates, coordinate load coverage, dispatch carriers, and monitor freight execution. The role requires high-volume prospecting, carrier onboarding, pricing analysis, service issue resolution, accurate transportation system records, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with account management and operations teams to achieve revenue, margin, productivity, and customer service goals.

Leads regional workplace safety programs across transportation terminals, warehouses, and offices. Ensures OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, and other regulatory compliance; conducts inspections, audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses; develops corrective actions and safety initiatives; delivers training; analyzes safety metrics; supports emergency preparedness and facility start-ups; and advises operational and corporate leadership on risk reduction and continuous improvement.

Processes accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, settlements, credit, collections, and related financial transactions. Reviews invoices and operational expenses, supports payment processing and reconciliations, resolves billing discrepancies, maintains records and audit files, monitors workflow queues, and assists with month-end accounting activities. Coordinates with terminals, operations, customers, vendors, and accounting teams while supporting reporting, system updates, testing, training, and process improvements.

Provides front-line customer service and administrative support for freight shipments. Coordinates scheduling, shipment tracking, documentation, customer and carrier communications, freight acceptance, and routine billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable tasks. Maintains shipment and financial records, escalates delays, supports terminal operations, and performs general office administration in a fully on-site logistics environment.

Manages international air export shipments from booking through departure, including routing, carrier coordination, documentation, regulatory compliance, milestone tracking, customer communication, exception resolution, billing validation, and margin control. The role collaborates with airlines, overseas agents, trucking providers, warehouses, and internal teams while identifying process improvements and supporting less experienced staff. It is fully on-site, Monday through Friday, with travel for related meetings or events.

Lead strategic account planning and executive relationships to retain and grow enterprise customers. Drive business reviews, identify expansion opportunities, oversee KPIs, resolve complex issues, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver technology-enabled supply chain and logistics solutions.
