Teams at German American Chambers of Commerce

Coordinate international inbound shipments from European suppliers and headquarters to U.S. warehouses and distribution partners. Manage purchase orders, shipment schedules, import documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL providers. Monitor deliveries, resolve shipment and inventory discrepancies, maintain logistics records, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, and operations teams to ensure product availability and improve supply chain workflows.

Support full-cycle event management and membership initiatives: logistics, promotion, vendor/venue research, post-event follow-up, CRM maintenance, member outreach, communications, and design of event materials while attending and representing the Chamber at events.

Support GACC Midwest marketing and communications by creating and scheduling social media content, analyzing performance, producing newsletters and promotional materials, assisting event photography/video and on-site support, performing occasional website edits, and collaborating with other departments to strengthen brand presence.
