Commercial litigation attorneys will prepare matters for hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations involving commercial loans, secured transactions, equipment leasing, negotiable instruments, replevin, judgment enforcement, and foreclosures. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, correspondence, opinion letters, and motions; arguing motions; communicating with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties; and maintaining knowledge of applicable procedural rules and regulations.

Handle fidelity coverage claims and complex insurance litigation involving financial institution bonds, commercial crime policies, and employee dishonesty claims. Develop case strategy, manage matters independently, collaborate with attorneys, represent sophisticated clients, and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials. Candidates will use strong analytical and writing skills while contributing to a team environment.

Supports litigation matters through case management, discovery, document review and production, trial preparation, exhibit preparation, investigation, research, and client communication. Organizes large caseloads, drafts and responds to discovery, indexes case materials, and assists at trial. Requires litigation paralegal experience, familiarity with state and federal civil procedure rules, and proficiency with Relativity or comparable litigation support software.
