Optimizes manufacturing processes for steel drum plants through trials, process analysis, instrumentation validation, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement. The role improves productivity, quality, safety, reliability, and cost performance; prepares production and quality reports; supports plant operations; leads small projects; and provides technical training. Requires cross-functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, quality, and plant leadership.

Leads medium-complexity manufacturing engineering projects, including equipment design, process improvements, automation, machine rebuilds, and manufacturing line installations. Develops technical requirements, budgets, schedules, layouts, documentation, and handover packages. Provides hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Collaborates with plants, maintenance teams, vendors, and EH&S to improve safety, reliability, productivity, and profitability. Extensive travel is required.

Provides regional leadership for quality systems, product safety, regulatory compliance, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across manufacturing sites. Partners with plant leadership and quality teams to standardize processes, troubleshoot product and process issues, monitor performance, and resolve compliance risks. Coaches quality personnel, supports audit readiness, interprets quality data, and serves as a technical resource while collaborating with operations, engineering, and regulatory stakeholders.
