Lead federal government relations strategy, congressional engagement, appropriations and authorization efforts, and policy advocacy for an airspace monitoring technology company. Build bipartisan relationships, identify funding opportunities, translate technical capabilities into policy narratives, manage coalitions and consultants, prepare executives, ensure lobbying compliance, and connect federal priorities to business outcomes. At the VP level, set company-wide strategy, advise executives, shape market and product priorities, and manage the function’s budget and resources.

Leads federal business development and technology sales, building relationships with agencies, influencing contracting vehicles, developing capture strategies, forecasting revenue, and meeting sales targets. Partners with operations and engineering to expand accounts, translate customer needs into product requirements, communicate technical value, and identify new buying centers. Requires extensive federal sales experience, knowledge of government budgets and contracting processes, an active security clearance, and up to 50% travel.
