Transports acute, intensive, critical-care, inpatient, and outpatient patients throughout the hospital using wheelchairs, stretchers, beds, and related equipment. Prepares patients and equipment safely, verifies identification, manages IVs and oxygen, completes handoffs, disinfects equipment, and supports fall and infection prevention. Communicates delays and patient observations to clinical staff, maintains equipment, assists with furnishings and beds, and provides customer-focused service.

Provides direct professional nursing care to endoscopy patients, including assessments, treatment assistance, medication administration, procedures, education, documentation, and care coordination. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, manages complex patient needs and emergencies, advocates for patients and families, and supports quality and safety initiatives. May serve as charge nurse or preceptor and contribute to shared governance, education, and process improvement.

Coordinates perioperative operating room workflow, staffing, supplies, scheduling, education, quality improvement, and patient safety for neurosurgical procedures. Serves as an expert clinical resource, mentor, liaison among surgeons, anesthesia, vendors, and hospital departments, and provides direct scrub or circulating nurse care as needed. Leads process improvement, cost-control, competency development, and resource allocation initiatives.
