The Associate Certification Engineer will support key processes to obtain and retain FAA certification for Intelsat products in all targeted In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) products & associated aircraft types. Responsibilities include coordinating project certification compliance, participating in program review meetings, developing certification plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Oversee Intelsat's portfolio of internet products for Commercial Aviation, set strategic direction, define SLAs, lead innovation initiatives, collaborate with vendors, represent Intelsat at conferences, support commercial pursuits, and act as internal expert on inflight internet.

Develop high-end electrical installation designs for commercial and business aircraft. Create detailed electrical designs, resolve manufacturing problems, participate in program & design reviews, mentor team members, track engineering programs, and develop certification documents. Required: 4-year Electrical Engineering degree, 5 years of experience in electrical systems design, familiarity with aviation regulations, proactive problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCad.

Lead the cross-functional development of critical annual budgets for acquisition of new parts for aerospace terminal installations on various aircraft, collaborate with Supply Chain stakeholders, work closely with Finance for excess and obsolete inventory analyses, make quick decisions based on data analysis, create vendor-specific forecasts, manage the MRP process, publish rules for parts usage, drive inventory analyses, and more.

Inspectors perform inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Responsible for accurate visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspection of materials per inspection plans and specifications. Minimum of high school diploma and 3-5 years of aerospace experience required.
