We view our platform as a channel for social good.  We believe that the opportunity for everyone to live in safe, quality affordable housing is the key to sustainability of our communities.

We seek to finance and promote affordable, safe and decent housing opportunities for the low- and moderate income.  We will heighten general awareness of housing needs with groups that can have an impact on the production of such housing—individuals and community businesses.

Our service will provide affordable housing owners a channel to organize and promote their projects in a low cost manner, while efficiently building a more sustainable capital structure to ensure long term success through financing and advisory services.

We will provide access to quality affordable housing developments at prudent exposures, fair and transparent prices, with experienced support through equitable, accountable partnerships.

WHAT WE DO

Lihtec is an online real estate investment marketplace that offers individuals and corporations an opportunity to make direct investments in affordable housing projects in their communities.  The platform primarily markets interests in Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), but will also offer opportunities to provide grants in lieu of equity and/or hard debt. 

The company was founded by executives in the real estate capital markets, technology and affordable housing industries seeking to disrupt the current investment oligarchy in affordable housing by providing transparency and accessibility to what was once reserved to banks and tax credit investment funds.
