The role involves designing, building, and maintaining the LiveKit Rust SDK and core modules, leading by example while mentoring others, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities also include managing testing, performance profiling, and contributing to SDK architecture.

Own the LiveKit Inference product roadmap, decide which models and providers to offer, partner with engineering, optimize hosting and routing for voice AI workloads, grow customer value and consolidate model spend, and learn from customers and data to prioritize features.

Design, implement, and manage LiveKit's infrastructure, focusing on performance, reliability, and automation while ensuring effective incident management and coordination with vendors.
