Provides outpatient psychiatric care, evaluating patients, reviewing medical histories and test results, diagnosing mental health conditions, prescribing medication and therapy, explaining treatment options, and monitoring patient progress. The psychiatrist will see approximately 4–12 patients daily and may treat children. Provides remote behavioral health care to seniors with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, delivers evidence-based interventions, coordinates with psychiatrists and primary care providers, supports patients and caregivers, responds to urgent needs, and documents care in the EHR.

Provides remote psychiatric care, including mental health evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, psychotherapy, medication management, diagnostic test interpretation, and ongoing patient monitoring. The PMHNP collaborates with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals; maintains clinical records; participates in care meetings; and applies current psychiatric-mental health research and best practices.

Provides clinical leadership for a psychiatry pod serving patients with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and dementia. Supervises psychiatric nurse practitioners and multidisciplinary behavioral health staff, conducts case reviews, coordinates care with primary care and community providers, and supports hiring and training. Manages a patient panel through diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, medication management, crisis intervention, outcome monitoring, and telehealth follow-up. Participates in clinical programming, process improvement, and a limited rotating on-call schedule.
