Teams at MASC Medical

Provides outpatient psychiatric care, evaluating patients, reviewing medical histories and test results, diagnosing mental health conditions, prescribing medication and therapy, explaining treatment options, and monitoring patient progress. The psychiatrist will see approximately 4–12 patients daily and may treat children. Provides direct remote telepsychiatry care for adults and older adults with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and dementia. Leads and mentors psychiatric nurse practitioners through supervision, case reviews, team huddles, and education. Performs psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention; collaborates with primary care and care management teams; supports behavioral health program development, process improvement, recruitment, and onboarding. Participates in limited rotating on-call coverage.
