The Business Development Manager develops marketing and business development plans for employment, benefits, and mobility practices. Responsibilities include client targeting, campaigns, thought leadership, competitive intelligence, CRM data management, RFPs and proposals, marketing materials, events, directory submissions, lawyer support, budgeting, and team supervision. The role partners with lawyers and firm leadership to strengthen market positioning, support client development, coordinate initiatives, and improve workflows across a global law firm.

Supports the firm's billing and invoicing cycle by editing draft client invoices, generating and distributing billing information and reports, maintaining spreadsheets, tracking activities, and assisting with departmental projects. The role requires accurate, timely work, strong communication, customer service orientation, technological proficiency, Microsoft Suite skills, and the ability to learn software applications quickly.

Manages and operationalizes the firm’s enterprise AI governance framework. Oversees AI risk and impact assessments, use-case reviews, AI inventory and regulatory monitoring, third-party AI due diligence, client audit requirements, and governance committee reporting. Coordinates across information security, IT, legal risk, privacy, procurement, and innovation teams to ensure AI systems address security, privacy, fairness, explainability, and compliance requirements.
