Supports the Group Benefits sales organization through training, customer meeting participation, technology exposure, and assigned sales duties. The intern will collaborate on a capstone project, present findings to leadership, develop business-to-business sales skills, and build professional networks. Successful completion may lead to an interview for a sales trainee position.

Provides end-to-end service delivery and account administration for complex national group insurance clients. Serves as the primary client contact, manages communications and relationship needs, recommends plan and service improvements, leads audits and reporting, supports RFPs and contracts, and coordinates cross-functional teams. Requires strong employee benefits knowledge, client-facing account management expertise, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

Completes a four-month service academy training program focused on MetLife group benefits, systems, customer service, and account support. Partners with mentors and service teams to manage customer relationships, resolve issues, support client needs, participate in audits and strategic planning, and generate activity and trend reports. Builds communication, project management, analytical, and relationship-building skills while learning to support assigned business customers and deliver a positive end-to-end client experience.
