Leads Americas operations for a steel trading business while personally executing international steel transactions end to end. Responsibilities include contract review, letters of credit and banking coordination, customs filings, logistics, inventory monitoring, payment issue resolution, vendor coordination, process improvement, and supervision of US and India-US operations teams. The role also partners with traders, finance, IT, customers, suppliers, warehouses, carriers, and service providers.

Manage steel-trading operations across U.S. and Mumbai teams, including trade execution, letters of credit, contracts, customer credit, customs clearance, logistics, documentation, payments, inventory reconciliation, compliance, and risk escalation. Lead the operations team, coordinate with finance, commercial teams, vendors, suppliers, warehouses, and IT, and improve procedures and ERP-supported workflows.

Design and implement enterprise data and lakehouse architectures for client data, cloud, and AI transformation initiatives. The role requires hands-on expertise with Databricks, Azure, GCP, Spark/PySpark, SQL, Unity Catalog, governance, Terraform, and CI/CD. Responsibilities include client-facing solution architecture, clear communication, and delivery of scalable analytics solutions. Databricks Champion status is mandatory, while DPP experience is preferred. Immediate or 30-day-or-less availability is preferred.
