Leads and supports clinical quality and patient safety initiatives through medical record review, data analysis, quality measurement, peer review coordination, committee facilitation, root-cause analysis, and process improvement. Collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to implement solutions, develop dashboards and reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve patient care outcomes using Lean, DMAIC, RCA, and FMEA methodologies.

Provides direct lactation and nursing care to breastfeeding patients, including assessment, care planning, education, implementation, evaluation, documentation, and collaboration with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other disciplines. The consultant develops breastfeeding-related care procedures, applies evidence-based practice, and supports quality improvement while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Provide full-time glaucoma-focused ophthalmology care within a growing multispecialty physician practice. Responsibilities include treating glaucoma patients, performing ophthalmic procedures and surgery in an ambulatory surgery center, participating in hospital call at Lake Forest Hospital, and collaborating with ophthalmologists, optometrists, advanced practice providers, and other care teams.
