Build and maintain Python-based automation, services, test infrastructure, and performance analysis tooling for a distributed database system. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, improve developer tooling and reproducible testing, analyze system performance, and create documentation and runbooks. The role requires strong software fundamentals, systems thinking, Linux and CI experience, and the ability to learn new languages and systems quickly.

Own end-to-end technical project and program planning, execution, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Coordinate hardware and software installations, database deployments, migrations, data workflows, procurement, site readiness, and go-live activities. Maintain project plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and status reports; facilitate stand-ups, steering updates, and retrospectives. Manage concurrent projects, resolve blockers, and improve project-management processes, templates, and tools across engineering, product, solutions, operations, QA, sales, customers, and vendors.

Drive account-based prospecting and pipeline generation into telecommunications carriers and CSPs across the Americas. Develop executive relationships, qualify opportunities, coordinate discovery with AEs, collaborate on ABM campaigns and partner channels, and use AI-powered sales tools and CRM to accelerate sales velocity and contribute to revenue targets.

Creates technical documentation for Ocient’s unified data platform, especially data-loading functionality. Partners with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, manage writing timelines and review cycles, communicate progress, and deliver accurate, user-focused content. The role requires strong technical writing, organization, collaboration, and project management skills, with familiarity in databases or data warehouses. AI, SQL, Markdown, docs-as-code, and technical diagram experience are advantageous.

Lead product strategy and roadmap for Ocients database solutions. Translate customer problems into feature specifications, prioritize high-value work, collaborate with technical PMs, sales, and marketing, drive complex projects to delivery, and engage directly with customers and partners on large-scale data ingest, warehousing, and analytics use cases.

C-suite HR leader responsible for people strategy, workforce planning, org design, talent acquisition, leadership development, total rewards, HR operations, compliance, and employee relations. Build and mentor a lean HR team, implement HRIS and people analytics, advise the CEO and Board, and scale people systems for rapid growth and pre-IPO readiness.

Build and expand in-database ML model catalog: implement new model types, ensure framework parity with scikit-learn/Spark ML, optimize training and inference at petabyte scale, extend SQL-level linear algebra, and collaborate across teams to deliver correct, performant ML features and documentation.

Extend and harden Ocient's native geospatial engine: implement and optimize 120+ spatial functions, ensure spherical/geodetic numerical correctness, improve spatial indexing and query performance at trillion-row scale, deepen spatiotemporal operators (trajectory/interpolation), integrate geospatial features with the analytical engine, and produce design docs, tests, and benchmarks.
