Staff Security Platform Engineer responsible for backend integrations and policy platform use cases using Golang, MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS. Owns technical design through delivery, documents decisions, follows testing and deployment practices, reviews code, and provides technical direction to an IC4 engineer. Collaborates closely with customer stakeholders, communicates risks and progress, and ramps quickly on the customer codebase.

Build and maintain backend integrations and policy platform features using Golang, MongoDB, Snowflake, and AWS. Work with customer engineering stakeholders to deliver scoped changes, follow established coding, testing, review, and deployment standards, and communicate progress and blockers. The role requires rapid onboarding, independent execution, and reliable delivery in a fully remote contractor engagement.

Develop, optimize, automate, and support bioinformatics pipelines in an on-premise HPC environment. Integrate pipelines with laboratory systems and Illumina, Oxford Nanopore, and PacBio sequencing instruments; troubleshoot genomic data movement and delivery issues; maintain technical infrastructure; and support increased workload from an LIS transition to Epic Beaker. Participate as a full member of an agile pipeline team while collaborating with bioinformatics specialists and customer stakeholders.

Own product vision, roadmap, backlog, prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release planning while serving as Scrum Master for multiple teams. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, coach teams and stakeholders, track delivery metrics, support Agile scaling, and drive continuous improvement. Lead customer communications and coordinate with program leadership and PMO across complex technical environments involving infrastructure, data engineering, and application development.

Build and own Java and Spring Boot microservices for licensing, case management, payments, documents, and notifications on Google Cloud. Design stable REST APIs using OpenAPI, implement PostgreSQL persistence, asynchronous event flows, scheduled processing, authentication and authorization, payment integrations, observability, testing, and CI/CD. Collaborate with technical, integration, mobile, and frontend teams throughout greenfield platform delivery.

Build and extend full-stack features using React, Node.js, and Go; design PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas; implement authentication and authorization; develop scalable APIs; write unit and integration tests; and safely refactor or decommission legacy code. Collaborate with program managers, customer stakeholders, and Agile teams while integrating AWS services and potentially Snowflake and n8n.

Build and maintain Go-based backend services and APIs on AWS for agentic AI workflows, including metadata suggestions, automated ownership reassignment, system deprecation, and agent/MCP inventory. Design database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, integrate asset discovery tooling, map dependencies and user journeys, and refactor legacy code safely. Deliver tested features through Agile/Scrum while collaborating with program and customer teams.

Analyze mobile and web user journeys to identify friction, feature adoption, and performance issues. Build custom SQL analyses, create dashboards and visualizations, monitor telemetry to detect problems, and translate insights into executive-ready recommendations that influence product roadmaps and improve user experience.

Build and maintain Python-first automation and tooling for hyperscale data center, backbone, and out-of-band networks. Operate multi-vendor routing/switching (BGP, IS-IS/OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS), implement telemetry and observability (gNMI/OpenConfig, SNMP, flow), codify config-as-code (Jinja2, NETCONF/YANG, REST APIs), carry production on-call, lead incident response and RCA, and support site turn-ups, capacity expansion, and secure change governance.

Design, build, test, and deploy full-stack features across a React frontend, Node.js REST API, and PostgreSQL. Manage GCP infrastructure, Terraform IaC, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines. Implement integration and E2E testing, translate Figma designs to responsive UI, and produce technical documentation and API contracts.
