OVERVIEW

OnTrac is seeking a Lead Change Management Consultant (L5) to join a contractor program within a Google-focused solutions practice. You will be the primary point of contact for strategic corporate and enterprise customers, leading large-scale technology adoption and transformation programs and holding strategic conversations with C-suite leadership. This is more than a delivery role. It is a mission-critical position focused on driving significant business outcomes for customers and on shaping an evolving change management practice, including its expansion into Artificial Intelligence.

The program centers on adoption of Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise. We are looking for a change leader who is a subject-matter expert in both products, not a generalist who has simply used them, and who can pair that expertise with a track record of leading change at enterprise scale.

This is a highly customer-facing role that calls for a professional and energetic demeanor.

ENGAGEMENT

• Location: United States, fully remote

• Travel: may be required for key implementation dates. Consultants are not placed on customer sites for the duration of a project.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

You will provide both strategic direction and hands-on execution.

• Executive-Level Consulting and Leadership: Facilitate and lead executive workshops and strategic conversations with customer leadership, guiding them through the envisioning, planning, and delivery of user adoption and change management programs. Act as the trusted advisor who makes sure every work product is tailored to the customer's needs and meets industry standards.

• Strategic Program Delivery: Lead large-scale enterprise transformations, specifically technology implementations of 20,000 users or more. This includes building and running stakeholder engagement, success measurement and tracking, business value use cases, organizational change impact analysis, stakeholder interviews and assessments, communication strategies, enablement strategies, and Champions programs.

• Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise Adoption: Lead the change program for Workspace and Gemini Enterprise rollouts. Translate each product's capabilities into role-based use cases, design the enablement and Champions approach, define how adoption and business value will be measured, and advise the customer on rollout sequencing, including which capabilities are switched on for which groups and when.

• Business Development and Scoping: Work with the sales team to craft proposals and Statements of Work that are compelling and executable by the change management team. Support sales demos and workshops, explaining the role of change management in transformation projects.

• Team and Practice Development: Act as an established leader within the services organization, coaching and mentoring junior team members on best practices. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive successful change for customers and to help your colleagues do the same.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• At least 8 years of external consulting experience in a Change Management Lead role.

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale enterprise transformations with 20,000+ users.

• Experience leading teams of Change Managers in a delivery setting (not as a formal supervisor).

• Proven experience leading change management programs tied to technology implementations.

• Experience working with and presenting to executives.

Platform expertise (subject-matter expert level)

• SME-level expertise in Google Workspace: you have led change and adoption for an enterprise Workspace deployment or migration (for example Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Chat). You can say specifically what changes for end users and teams, and you can demonstrate and teach the product yourself.

• SME-level expertise in Gemini Enterprise: you have led adoption of Gemini Enterprise, or of its predecessor Google Agentspace, for a customer. You can build use-case-led enablement, set up and run a Champions network, measure adoption and value, and discuss data access and responsible use credibly with both executives and IT and security stakeholders.

• "SME level" is judged on delivery evidence: the deployments you led, the user counts, and the outcomes. It is not judged on years of tenure or on certificates alone.

Certifications

• Cloud Digital Leader certification, or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of starting.

• Google Cloud Generative AI Leader certification, or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of starting.

• PROSCI Change Management certification is highly valued.

Skills

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Sound business judgment, with the ability to think creatively and solve problems.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, even under pressure.

• Ability to build trust-based relationships with senior colleagues and customers.

• High proficiency with Google Workspace and other cloud collaboration tools.

• A focus on delivering tangible results.

USEFUL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience moving customers to Google Workspace from Microsoft 365 or another collaboration suite.

• A Google Workspace administrator certification.

• Experience leading AI adoption programs, such as AI usage guidelines, AI Champions, or responsible-use training.

• Experience supporting pre-sales, including proposals, Statements of Work, and customer demos.
