Lead mechanical design, development, and validation of ruggedized communications products from concept through production. Own system architecture, perform CAE and tolerance analyses, prototype and test to MIL‑STD and IP requirements, produce documentation, support manufacturing/quality, and mentor junior engineers.

Design and develop ruggedized communication hardware (speaker mics, PTTs, headsets). Create 3D CAD models and drawings, perform tolerance and stress analyses, prototype and test designs, prepare BOMs/ECNs, ensure DFM/DFA and production readiness, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and vendors to resolve production issues.

Design and lead development of rugged communications and power-management electronics from concept through production. Responsibilities include analog/digital/audio circuit design, component selection, PCB guidance (Altium), hardware bring‑up, validation, EMC/ESD mitigation, failure analysis, test development, production support, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.
