Leads a regional commercial insurance underwriting team across workers’ compensation, commercial auto, general liability, and umbrella products. Oversees risk selection, pricing, coverage terms, profitable growth, distribution relationships, account management, budgeting, compliance, and operational execution. Develops underwriting strategy, coaches staff, builds succession plans, and collaborates with corporate, actuarial, finance, claims, risk control, and regional teams. Requires extensive loss-sensitive and guaranteed-cost underwriting expertise, leadership experience, and commercial insurance industry relationships.
