Designs and coordinates mechanical and electrical building systems in BIM environments using Revit. Produces layouts, schematics, schedules, shop drawings, and project documentation while maintaining version control and incorporating field changes. Coordinates MEP subcontractors, resolves design issues, supports change-order budgeting, orders materials, and interfaces with customers, sales, project managers, and shop teams. May conduct site visits and inspect installations. Ensures designs comply with specifications, safety requirements, building codes, and quality documentation standards.

The Mechanical Engineer will design MEP systems using Revit and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance and safety in projects.

Supervise manufacturing employees and coordinate department operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity objectives. Lead continuous improvement, quality audits, training, payroll, performance management, employee development, asset utilization, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with production control and manufacturing engineering while driving process improvements and organizational change.

The role requires managing sales growth through electrical distribution, developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and delivering presentations on Powell's products and services.
