Teams at QTS Data Centers

Supports electrical design, preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and procurement activities for data center development projects. Reviews drawings, equipment submittals, code compliance, design standards, and electrical studies. Collaborates with designers, contractors, vendors, commissioning agents, facilities, and operations teams to resolve technical issues, answer RFIs, evaluate value engineering, and support multiple projects. Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience and approximately 10% travel.

Provides electrical engineering subject-matter expertise for large-scale data center development projects. Reviews design packages, codes, standards, equipment submittals, and electrical studies; collaborates with designers, contractors, procurement, commissioning, and operations teams; resolves design and construction issues; and supports project scope, value engineering, equipment procurement, and commissioning. Requires 25% travel and expertise in power systems, NEC compliance, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis.

Leads QTS’s centralized development schedule management function across its construction portfolio. Oversees production tracking, schedule risk management, KPI standardization, reporting dashboards, and performance-review routines. Builds and manages a team of schedule specialists and analysts, partners with regional development leaders, intervenes in at-risk projects, and coordinates with procurement, quality, engineering, design, and finance to integrate schedule requirements into project delivery and reporting.
