The Sr Advanced Software Engineer will design and develop cloud services for IoT devices, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability while collaborating cross-functionally and leading innovation efforts.

Lead design and implementation of embedded firmware for sensor applications, including sensor interfacing, data acquisition, signal processing, RF protocol stack (PHY/MAC/network), low-power optimization, driver/library development, testing/validation, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with hardware teams.

Manages strategic OEM customer relationships, sales and growth strategies, account forecasts, business reviews, promotional activity, and executive stakeholder engagement. Identifies opportunities, expands market share, analyzes business and industry data, and coordinates product customization programs with internal and external teams. Requires substantial HVAC and sales/account management experience, strong financial analysis and influencing skills, and domestic travel up to 50%.

Architect and develop foundational edge-computing runtime and integration platforms for connected-home devices. Build software models for device, spatial, and occupancy data; prototype and productionize new concepts; evaluate architectures; and provide technical leadership through design reviews, coding standards, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration. The role spans edge computing, IoT, distributed systems, embedded environments, intelligent agents, networking, and secure systems within an exploratory R&D organization.
