Teams at River Trails Park District

Performs landscaping, athletic field, grounds, snow removal, custodial, and general facility maintenance for parks and schools. Operates heavy equipment, conducts grounds and playground inspections, removes garbage, assists with equipment maintenance, supports special events, and may supervise seasonal staff. The role requires work in all weather conditions, on-call availability, safe work practices, and obtaining an Illinois Pesticide Public Operator’s License within one year.

Supervise development, budgeting, promotion and delivery of youth and adult sports programs, camps and events. Recruit, train and manage staff and volunteers, manage program budgets, schedules, safety and compliance, and communicate with partners and participants.

Supervise adult league games, operate scoreboards and maintain game statistics, enforce park district policies, set up/take down equipment, communicate with team captains and Recreation Supervisor, ensure facility safety and cleanliness, complete incident reports and timesheets.
