Designs, builds, and optimizes scalable end-to-end data pipelines and curated data products using Snowflake, SQL, and Python. Translates business needs into reliable technical solutions, ensuring data quality, governance, performance, and cost efficiency. Troubleshoots complex issues, contributes to architectural decisions, uses AI-assisted engineering tools, and collaborates with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders. The role also includes code reviews, documentation, mentoring, and influencing data engineering best practices.

Leads the investment function for a property and casualty insurer’s general account and surplus assets. Develops portfolio strategy, asset allocation, investment implementation, risk oversight, liquidity and capital strategies, and external manager relationships. Monitors performance, risk, compliance, and accounting impacts while presenting recommendations to senior management and the Board. Partners with Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial, and Enterprise Risk, and provides leadership to investment staff.

Design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector search, document processing, and cloud-native technologies. Build scalable APIs, integrations, knowledge platforms, and Kubernetes-based services while contributing to architecture, CI/CD, security, testing, and observability. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to solve complex problems, evaluate emerging AI technologies, and mentor team members.
