Responsibilities include prospecting, pipeline development, cross-selling, pricing and deal strategy, proposal leadership, contract negotiation, solution selling, quota attainment, and transitioning new accounts to account management. The role supports automotive, aeronautical, and industrial customers, requires substantial sales experience, and involves 40%–50% travel.

The Business Engagement Manager is responsible for developing sales strategies to acquire new clients, utilizing various outreach methods, managing CRM tasks, and improving sales skills while adhering to the Ryder Sales Process.

Leads financial analysis, planning, reporting, forecasting, and data mining for assigned business segments. Manages monthly close activities, P&L reviews, accruals, reconciliations, journal entries, audits, and financial modeling. Partners with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales to identify financial drivers and present insights to leadership. Oversees projects, coaches junior professionals, and supports effective financial controls.

Manages regional commercial collections portfolios by contacting customers, negotiating payments and service cessation, resolving billing disputes, enforcing contract terms, and reducing delinquency and bad debt. Analyzes financial, credit, and operational data; reports receivables metrics to Finance, Operations, Sales, and Rental leadership; and supports collections-related projects and process improvements.

Provides employee relations consultation to managers and employees, conducts fair and timely HR investigations, advises on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, and interprets employment policies and laws. Partners with operational management, HR business partners, labor relations, legal teams, and other subject matter experts to resolve complex cases, mitigate compliance risks, and monitor employee relations trends. Administers case management systems and supports performance management, employee communications, and collective bargaining agreement provisions.

Sources, screens, interviews, and negotiates offers with candidates; completes contractor hiring administration and onboarding. Manages recruitment processes for assigned accounts, partners with hiring managers and operations teams, tracks recruiting KPIs, executes sourcing strategies, maintains recruitment materials, reports market conditions and progress, and supports customer satisfaction objectives.
