Actuarial Interns support insurance pricing and product development through risk modeling, research, technical analysis, and ad hoc projects. The role includes collaborating with underwriting, marketing, operations, and software teams; presenting findings; recommending solutions; participating in a rotational program; and completing a capstone project. Candidates should be pursuing Actuarial Science or a STEM degree, graduating in 2028, and authorized to work in the United States.

Supports business and technical requirements gathering, documentation, validation, process analysis, QA coordination, stakeholder workshops, implementation, issue resolution, and continuous improvement for commercial insurance products, processes, and systems. Partners with Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Operations teams across distributed locations to translate business needs into actionable requirements and support strategic initiatives.

Investigate and respond to consumer complaints submitted through Departments of Insurance, Better Business Bureaus, and other channels. Manage complaint mailboxes, logs, and documentation; coordinate with internal teams, carriers, and producers; identify regulatory compliance vulnerabilities; track remediation; and support underwriting, product, and compliance audits. The role requires timely, professional written responses, strong analytical judgment, prioritization, and composure in a high-pressure environment.
