The National Sales Director will market and sell convention center meeting space and support hotel room-block contracting to drive tourism revenue. Responsibilities include developing sales plans, acquiring and retaining clients, meeting booking and revenue targets, advising clients, attending sales appointments and trade shows, analyzing market trends, collaborating with convention center and hotel stakeholders, and representing the destination in the meetings and conventions industry. The role requires up to 25% travel and Chicago-area residence.
