Teams at Scotsman Ice Systems

Manages supplier relationships, commodity competitiveness, supply base performance, inventory accuracy, supplier payments, material cost reduction, and strategic procurement initiatives. Supports product and project teams, addresses component shortages, maintains commodity expertise, and contributes to departmental strategy. Requires purchasing experience with ice machine components, metals, electrical, or mechanical components, along with quality and problem-solving training. The role involves at least 25% travel and occasional light physical work.

Lead credit and collections operations, make credit recommendations, supervise staff, reconcile AR and bank accounts, manage sales returns reserves and sales/use tax filings, support interdepartmental account resolution, maintain credit files and procedures, and provide operational backups for pricing, reporting, and distributor programs.

Prepare, execute, and document lab tests on ice machines and components using data-acquisition systems. Calibrate and maintain instrumentation, diagnose and repair anomalies, perform fabrication and brazing, maintain test fixtures and safety, and support engineering project teams to improve products and processes.
