When Showpad acquired coaching and training platform LearnCore in 2018, engineers were tasked with integrating the two solutions. To combine sales enablement with training and coaching software, Yang had to learn new technologies like Angular, Git and Redux. Since then, Yang said he’s gone from performing code reviews and mentoring engineers to owning software architecture decisions and standards evangelism.

Where culture knows no bounds

Work-from-home orders have spurred cultural shifts across companies, leaving some struggling to build remotely what only existed in-office. But not Showpad. With six offices worldwide, Shockey said Showpad had the infrastructure and remote culture in place to ensure close connections remain, which she credits to co-founders PJ Bouten and Louis Jonckheere.
