Leads data-driven process improvement initiatives across manufacturing facilities to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste and costs, and improve labor and equipment utilization. Uses Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, A3 problem-solving, and Value Stream Mapping to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include root cause analysis, SOP development, technology integration, training and coaching plant personnel, compliance support, sustainability initiatives, and reporting to leadership.

Leads in-plant research and development experiments involving processed meat products, ingredients, packaging, equipment, and production processes. Analyzes results, provides technical support to plant QA and operations teams, conducts chemistry testing, ensures USDA and FDA compliance, optimizes formulations and processes, resolves quality issues, and identifies cost-saving opportunities. Collaborates with operations, food safety, product development, customers, and scientific networks while supporting continuous manufacturing improvement.

Provide plant accounting support including cost accounting, inventory control, accounts payable, payroll, billing, and plant financial reporting. Supervise the plant accounting team, ensure GAAP and SOX compliance, administer BOM and variances, reconcile inventories, support operations improvement, and deliver system training (SAP, ADC). Prepare and analyze financial and performance reports and assist plant management with operational reviews.
